Standing Amidst the Gods
I've been digging my hard drive again and found this interesting shot. We took this photo at the Exploratorium lobby way back in 2006. We arrived after closing hours so this is probably the best souvenir I got. The spaces between the columns form like gods bowing down. So I also bowed my head here as if to join in prayer but I was actually ready to sleep. A few hours earlier, I arrived at the San Francisco International Airport from my first 15-hr flight. I'm supposed to be catching sleep here but the godlike feeling of standing on a land mass that's hard for most of my own people to penetrate kept me awake.

That's a cool shot and an amazing illusion of human figures between these columns.
Buenos Aires Photo
Thanks! Right but I prefer to think of them as gods. ;)
This is so neat! I just love the effect of the columns being seen in one perspective and the shadows of people in another. Really neat!
Thanks Evita. Our different opinions make things more interesting. ;)
It's like gods looking down at humanity so they would see their good and evil. :) Nice shot!
Thanks Joemill! Yes and so that we can do something about it huh. :)
Kim, I remember this shot.. it's very unusual but good.
